Garcelle Beauvais Says ‘Unfortunate’ Incident With Erika Jayne Yelling At Her Son Was ‘Crossing The Line’

Garcelle Beauvais is sharing her thoughts on the incident where Erika Jayne cursed at her 14-year-old son Jax during last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

“It’s unfortunate that that had to happen,” Garcelle told Us Weekly. “But he’s good. He’s good.”

Garcelle noted that she was not thrilled that her kids were part of the drama on RHOBH. “That’s really tough,” she explained. “That’s definitely crossing the line for sure. No doubt.”

The actress turned reality star added that watching the episode back was the “hardest” day for her. “It’s one thing to hear what someone said,” she said. “It’s another thing to actually see the scene. It hurt and it was vicious.”

However, Garcelle has no regrets about having her kids film the show with her. “If you’re gonna be in my home, you’re going to see my kids,” she explained to Us Weekly. “But I’m the type of mom that if I’m celebrating my birthday, my kids are with me. That’s a no-brainer.”

Garcelle shared that when the episode aired, her son Jax had gotten a concussion while playing volleyball.

“It was one of those scary moments,” she said. “We were focused on making sure that he was OK, and he’s doing great. … A lot happened in one week. Let’s just say that.”
