It's official! The Real Housewives of Jersey UK will not be returning for a third season. ITV shared the news.
According to Jersey Evening Post, a spokesperson for the network confirmed that there are “no plans for future series of The Real Housewives of Jersey at present.”
The news comes after cast member Tessa Hartman revealed that she was leaving the show after two seasons after feuding with most of her co-stars. Hartmann reacted to the news while hinting that she is returning to television.
“I don’t know why the ladies thought it would be recommissioned when they already know I pulled out. Without me there is no show. But don’t worry, I will be back on your screens soon. I’m doing a new show,” Tessa told Jersey Evening Post last month.
In August 2020, it was first reported that ITVBe expanded the Real Housewives franchise to the Channel Islands, as The Real Housewives of Jersey was officially commissioned following the success of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. The series began filming weeks after the network officially announced the news.
The first season of The Real Housewives of Jersey premiered on Monday, December 29. The whole first season began available to binge-watch on the ITV Hub in the UK as new episodes aired on Mondays.
The Season 1 cast included Ashley Cairney, Hedi Green, Jane Rayner, Kate Taylor, Margaret Thompson, Mia Ledbury, and Tessa Hartmann.
However, the series was renewed for a second season. On December 27, 2021, the second series premiered on ITVBe.
The Season 2 cast included Ashley Cairney, Kate Taylor, Karen Loderick-Peace, Margaret Thompson, Mia Ledbury, Sarha Courtnay, and Tessa Hartmann.
