Tanya Bardsley has confirmed that she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Cheshire next season after fourteen seasons due to health issues.
During the RHOCheshire Season 14 reunion, which aired on Tuesday, December 21, Tanya broke down in tears as she confirmed her exit from the series.
"I'm having to take a step back from the show which I'm absolutely gutted about, because I absolutely love the show, and I love the crew. The crew are like family to me, and some of the girls."
She quickly added, "Not all of them."
According to the Daily Star, Bardsley decided to step away from the ITVBe hit reality series after battling with mental health issues behind the scenes - such as her ADHD diagnosis.
During the reunion, Tanya confessed that she's decided to "go back to having ADHD" as she's come off of her medication.
"I've just decided to go back to having ADHD - I've come off the pills. I'm still learning to navigate my health and stuff like that so I'm just going to be stepping back from Housewives and being the number one fan," she said, according to the Daily Star.
She did tease a possible future return to the popular show. She added: "You never know, one day I might be back..."
The former model also addressed her exit via her Instagram page. She captioned a clip of the reunion where she announced her depature.
She captioned her post, "It was one of the hardest decisions of my life leaving my beloved @officialrhoch I’ve done 14 series and loved nearly every minute of it there are so many people to thank, the viewers the amazing crew who are like my family my house will feel empty without your lovely buzz and the fabulous housewives who I can’t wait to continue to watch as a number one fan ❤️ the bosses and @itvbe my family and friends my beautiful husband and babies I don’t want to name any1 as there are too many ❤️ I want to thank each and every1 of you for all your support, the kind lovely messages have had me in tears tonight amd really helped my little brain never once has any of you made me feel weird for my mental health problems and I thank you for that and I know your support to me has helped so many out their as I’ve had sooo many messages saying so , I’m waffling thru tears but thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart to you all you will never realise how much I appreciate you all 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."
