In a video posted of Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Sean Burke, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star explained they have been experiencing financial problems due to the pandemic, reports Radar Online.
She revealed Sean works in technology and had trouble finding work for quite a bit of time.
She said, "COVID has been hard on the family financially. We took a big hit, we are small business owners, so we struggled. We didn't get a paycheck for a year and a half."
She said Sean is currently working right now to crawl of this financial "hole."
As previously reported, Braunwyn and Sean were hit with an eviction lawsuit earlier this week. Their landlord claims the couple has refused to pay their $15,000 a month rent and wants them out immediately.
The landlord says Braunwyn leased the 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom, nearly 8,000 sq. ft. pad in January 2020. They agreed to pay $15,000 a month in rent for a one-year and six-month lease.
However, despite numerous demands for payment, the landlord says the couple has refused to pay the back rent.
The legal matter came a day before Braunwyn announced she was temporarily separating from Sean after 26 years of marriage. She said, “We are packing up this house, the one we filmed last year, and we are moving. We have decided jointly that we are going to take a few months apart."
