Vicki Gunvalson Doesn’t Understand Why Shannon Beador Is Still on ‘RHOC’; Says “She’s Tough To Work With”

Vicki Gunvalson says she doesn’t understand why Shannon Beador is still on The Real Housewives of Orange County

“How many people can say they were on a TV reality show for 14 years?” the OG of the OC, 59, said during the Thursday, June 24, episode of Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” YouTube show, according to Us Weekly. “I’ve got Shannon coming in up my ass. I don’t know how she stays on so long. She’s tough to work with. I think she’s on [her seventh season] now so she’s got a long way to go. I don’t think she will hit 14.”

Gunvalson went on to detail how her friendship with Beador ended after she left the show. According to Vicki, Shannon ghosted her and Tamra Judge after they left the series.

“Shannon stopped talking to us right away. Right when she got asked back. She would never return a call, she never called back, texted back, nothing, nothing. Like nothing!” Vicki said. “I think Shannon easily discards her friends. That was something I knew about her very early on.”

While Vicki has no set plans to return to RHOC, she says that there’s always a chance she and Tamra could appear.

“I mean you never know mid-way through the season they may need us to save the day,” she told Access Hollywood. “But as of right now, we have no contract. There is nothing going on.”

The news comes after it was revealed earlier this month that Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas were not asked to return to RHOC for the show's upcoming Season 16. According to reports, Bravo decided not to renew their contracts.

A spokesperson confirmed the news to Variety about Windhand-Burke, Lyn Vargas, and Dodd’s departures.

Beador, along with Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson are all returning for Season 16. They will be joined by former Housewife Heather Dubrow, who originally left the series in 2017 after five seasons. Variety added that one or two new women will also join the cast.

However, it was reported that Braunwyn’s best friend Noella Bergener is joining the cast for Season 16 after Windham-Burke’s firing. “Noella is coming on board as a cast member for the new season, though Braunwyn will not be returning,” a source told The Sun. “They tested her out before the firing decisions were made. She has good chemistry with other potential new cast members.”
