Larsa Pippen Confirms ‘Real Housewives Of Miami’ Return!

A rep for Larsa Pippen confirms that she is returning to The Real Housewives of Miami after previously starring on the original series.

The reboot series is currently filming and is set to air on NBCUniversal's streaming service, Peacock.

As previously reported, Pippen along with Adriana de MouraAlexia EchevarriaLarsa Pippen, and Lisa Hochstein are all returning for the RHOM revival. All ladies were previously spotted filming in Miami while a camera crew followed them.

Meanwhile, Faces By Bravo is reporting that Latin superstar Paulina Rubio, Kiki Barth, Guerdy Abraira, Dr. Nicole Martin, and Julia Lemigova are all being test-filmed for the Real Housewives of Miami reboot, which began filming recently. Sources reveal that they are being test-filmed, and not all will make it onto the show.

In February 2021, it was confirmed that RHOM is in development at NBC Universal’s streaming service Peacock. A reboot of the reality series has officially been greenlit during the Television Critics Association Press Tour via PEOPLE.

Andy Cohen is set to executive produce alongside Matt Anderson, Nate Green and Cooper Green at Purveyors of Pop.

Sources revealed that former cast members, as well as potential new hopefuls, are vying for a spot on the upcoming reboot.

“I hear everyone and their mother is auditioning,” an insider told Page Six.

The series, which was the seventh iteration of the Real Housewives franchise, originally ran for three seasons from 2011 to 2013 and is just one of two installments to ever be canceled. The Real Housewives of D.C. ended after one season in 2010.

Sources claim that producers were looking to add a diverse cast. “They have started interviewing a bunch of different women,” the insider told Us Weekly. “They want to have a very diverse cast and are speaking to women from all different backgrounds.”

The source adds that a few of the potential cast members have already been interviewed “several times” and the network is getting “very close to narrowing down a cast.”

RHOM made its debut in February 2011 - the original cast consisted of Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Larsa Pippen, and Cristy Rice. Pippin and Rice left the show, and Lisa Hochstein, Joanna Krupa, Ana Quincoces, and Karent Sierra joined the cast for seasons 2 and 3.
