Sarha Courtnay And Karen Loderick Reportedly Joining ‘The Real Housewives Of Jersey UK’ For Season 2!

New casting details about the upcoming second season of The Real Housewives of Jersey UK have emerged.

Instagram page Everything Housewives unveiled the identities of new cast members joining the ITVBe hit reality series, which is set to return this summer.

Karen Loderick and Sarha Courtnay have been spotted filming the new season with returning cast members Ashley Cairney, Kate Taylor, Margaret Thompson, Mia Ledbury, and Tessa Hartmann.

The page shared a collage of multiple photos which includes Loderick and Courtnay along with the cast in various events. If you recall, the series is currently filming season two.

Apparently, the ladies are filming their cast trip in London. The post read as “#rhojersey Have gone to London for their cast trip! Both alleged newbies @karen_loderick + @sarhacourtnay are now officially confirmed!”

Earlier this month, ITVBe confirmed that the series was officially commissioned for a second season. In the press release of the network, they teased that the series will be adding new cast members. However, the network has yet to officially reveal the identities of the potential new cast members.

The following information is courtesy via ITV News“Filming is currently underway for the second series of The Real Housewives of Jersey.

After the show's debut on ITVBe between December and March, it has now been confirmed it will return to our screens this summer.

Cameras have been spotted around the island over the weekend, however sources say not all the leading ladies will be returning - and there could be some new faces joining the cast instead.

An official statement on this is yet to be released.”

Last month, sources revealed that the series will be adding new faces to the cast as the network allegedly wants to add more diversity, reported the Instagram page, Everything Housewives.

The page captioned the post with, “#rhojersey Alleged Cast Updates for Season 2! Swipe for information!”

On the third page of the post, the Instagram fan account broke it down as to who is allegedly demoted and much more.

“According to an insider at MonkeyNBC (production company of rhojersey) Jane [Rayner] and Hedi [Green] will not be returning to the show as full-time cast members.”

“Apparently, Hedi has been demoted to a friend of the show,” the insider continued.” “Also! Due to complaints of the lack of diversity, producers are apparently trying to look towards creating a more diverse cast.”

The source added, “It is also believed production for the show may start in May and will probably air by the start of next year.”

The series became a big hit in the UK. The reality series has streamed almost 3 million times on the ITV Hub, ITV News reported back in January 2021.

The following information is courtesy via ITV News"Around 2.26 million people have streamed The Real Housewives of Jersey on the ITV Hub so far.

The show premiered on ITVBe on 28 December, with all ten episodes of series one being made available online on the same day.

According to ITV, the first episode was the highest performing, with an average audience of 235,000."

In August 2020, it was first reported that ITVBe expanded the Real Housewives franchise to the Channel Islands, as The Real Housewives of Jersey was officially commissioned following the success of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. The series began filming weeks after the network officially announced the news.

The first season of  The Real Housewives of Jersey premiered on Monday, December 29. The whole first season began available to binge-watch on the ITV Hub in the UK as new episodes aired on Mondays.

The Season 1 cast included Ashley Cairney, Hedi Green, Jane Rayner, Kate Taylor, Margaret Thompson, Mia Ledbury, and Tessa Hartmann.
