Bravo has officially confirmed that BravoCon is returning for the second time - after skipping out last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event will take place in New York City from October 15 to 17, according to the network.
It's still unclear which current and/or past Bravolebrities and Real Housewives star will attend the much-anticipated event, but the network plans to release more details as the 2021 weekend gets closer. Check out the official press release below!
Back by extreme popular demand, BravoCon, the highly anticipated super fandom event, will deliver even more interactive experiences, live performances, insider panels, immersive activations, exclusive content, marketplace shopping, and VIP access to Bravo’s biggest shows and fans' favorite Bravolebrities. Producers and talent will spill the tea on all things Bravo.
In a video teaser released the day of the big announcement, Andy Cohen said of the event, “I’ll see all of you at BravoCon!”
Ellen Stone, EVP, Consumer Engagement & Brand Strategy, NBCUniversal Cable, said in a statement, “Close to ten thousand fans experienced our first ever BravoCon and I’m so excited to bring the Bravosphere to life again. The passion of our attendees combined with the enthusiasm from our talent set the standards super high for our second Con which we plan to be even more memorable.”
And make sure you stay tuned because further details are coming soon.
As Bravo fans will recall, the inaugural BravoCon took over NYC back in November 2019. That event included appearances from more than 90 Bravolebrities from series including Top Chef, Vanderpump Rules, Southern Charm, Million Dollar Listing, Married to Medicine, Below Deck, Summer House, and The Real Housewives franchises. Over the course of a three-day weekend across three venues in Manhattan, Bravolebs and fans gathered to celebrate, party, and bond. There were more than 50 live events, including panels, parties, a wild Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen episode that featured more than 75 Bravolebrities on stage, a Bravo bazaar marketplace, and just about every kind of experience a fan could ask for with opportunities to mingle with Bravo stars.
When Bravo Insider spoke to Andy to mark the one-year anniversary of the first BravoCon late last year, he recalled, "I would say it was euphoric. It was like a reunion of all reunions. It was interactive and it was just a total success."
