The Real Housewives Of Nashville Is NOT In The Works At Bravo, Source Says!

Early this month, it was rumored that The Real Housewives franchise was heading to Nashville as many fans began to speculate that The Real Housewives of Nashville was in the process of filming its first season.

However, The Sun revealed via a source close to Bravo that the rumored new series is NOT in the works and will not be part of the network.

While the series will not be part of the global reality franchise, it does appear a Housewives-style reality show is in production down in Nashville.

It remains unclear where the show will be airing — or even if it will officially get picked up for TV.

Many fans have predicted CMT will be home to the potential new series while there are also other rumors of a show titled Married To Country will be airing on E! in the near future - though the show title may end up changing.

One Tree Hill actress Jana Kramer and Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany were rumored to be part of the cast along with Aldean‘s sister, Kasi Wicks, who is married to singer Chuck Wicks. She teased about filming the potential new series.

“Filming … something … stay tuned,” Chuck wrote alongside a video of Kasi via Instagram Stories.

Meanwhile, Alexis Allen (Jimmie Allen’s wife), Sabina Rich (Tyler Rich’s wife), and Jenna Perdue (Dee Jay Silver’s wife) also shared snaps filming a show, per reports via Us Weekly.

Jason’s wife, Brittany Aldean, meanwhile, denied any involvement with the project on Monday, April 12.

“I’ve read a lot of things about myself over all these years. One being that I am a conspiracy theorist. Another being that me and Jason have marital issues and now, apparently, I’m on The Real Housewives of Nashville,” Brittany, who married Jason in 2015, said via Instagram Stories, according to Us Weekly. “Apparently, it’s new. It was apparently filming going on that I am unaware of. Fake news strikes again.”

She added, “It would be entertaining thoooo.”

Sources previously told TMZ that NBCUniversal is in charge of the secret project which is currently being filmed in Nashville and that it may end up on either E! or Peacock.

However, it is all said to be in the very early stages with no contracts being signed yet, suggesting it could be just a pilot or a bit of fun between the alleged cast. Meanwhile, a source revealed that while cameras were rolling, there is no official order for a reality show — yet.

“There is a Housewives-style show filming in Nashville, that includes [Luke Bryan’s wife] Caroline Boyer and Jana Kramer on the cast,” the source told Us Weekly. “It is still being shopped around and has not been picked up yet.”

Kramer denied the rumors that she's joining The Real Housewives of Nashville during the latest episode of her and her husband's podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin via PEOPLE, the Country singer explained that she was asked to film for The Real Housewives of Nashville, but declined “three times.”

“The only reason I entertained the one with Teddi [Mellencamp Arroyave] was because it could be fun to be someone's sidekick, fun buddy that just kind of comes in,” Kramer said, referring to her previously considering being a "friend" to Mellencamp Arroyave on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Kramer continued, “When they were trying to cast The Real Housewives of Nashville and they were interested in me as one of the characters I was just like 'No.' I don't like girl drama, I don't want to be a part of it, I don't want to feed into it … It's not me, I don't like it.”

While she won't be part of the Bravo hit reality franchise, Kramer and her husband reveal that they are open to being on a reality series, and have even filmed a presentation for their own show.

“We are not saying no to reality TV, we know a lot of people have asked us to do a reality show, it's just about what kind of show it is because I don't want it to be like attacking girls,” the country singer said. "I'm fine with them coming in, seeing our marriage, you know the ins and outs and how we kind of work through it, but still showing the drama.”

“So we did film something and, you know, it's just a presentation I don't know if it will ever get picked up, and again I don't even know if it's something that at the end of the day if we will really do, because I know we share so much on the podcast and so much here but sometimes it's the kiss of death,” Kramer added. “So that's something that we have to also think about and be careful of because it's scary.”

Days after the episode was released, Kramer has filed for divorce from Mike Caussin. On Wednesday, the country singer and actress announced in an emotional social media post that she is splitting from Caussin after six years of marriage.

““It's time.' As I try to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality," she wrote on Instagram. “I've fought y'all. I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give.”

“Please know that I still believe wholeheartedly in marriage, love, and rebuilding. I just can't fight any longer.  It's time to heal," she continued. “Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful. I'll always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can't fight it alone. 💔”

A source told PEOPLE that the divorce is due to infidelity, which the couple had previously separated over in 2016.

“He cheated and broke her trust again,” the source said. “After fighting for the marriage for so long, she's come to terms with the realization that his patterns were never going to change.”

In America, the franchise has expanded in ten cities: Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, D.C., Beverly Hills, Miami, Potomac, Dallas, and Salt Lake City.

Meanwhile, the franchise continues to grow worldwide with over thirteen installments: Athens (Greece), Vancouver (Canada), Les Vraies Housewives (France), Melbourne (Australia), Cheshire (United Kingdom) and Auckland (New Zealand), Sydney (Australia), Toronto, (Canada), Johannesburg (South Africa), Durban (South Africa), Naples (Italy), Jersey (United Kingdom) and even in Hungary as more installments are in the works.
