New Details Emerge About Larsa Pippen’s Breakup With Malik Beasley!

Larsa Pippen and Malik Beasley’s short lived romance was surrounded by controversy from the very beginning. Now, new sources are sharing new details about the former Real Housewives of Miami star and the basketball player.

“Things ran their course between them. No one expected her to marry this guy, she was having fun. But then it started to get complicated and that’s not her thing, so she ended it,” a source told HollywoodLife.

“There are no hard feelings, they’re cool. But she’s doing her thing in Miami and he’s on the other side of the country and that’s that,” the source added.

According to the same source, things between Larsa and the Minnesota Timberwolves player ended “a while ago” but it’s only making headlines now because she was recently spotted getting cozy with a new man. Larsa and 27-year-old entrepreneur Myles Kronman were photographed enjoying a date at the W Hotel last month.

“[Myles] has been pursuing her and she’s having fun,” explained the source. “She’s in a very empowered place in her life, she’s really never felt better.”

A second source close to Larsa echoed the sentiment. “She’s not necessarily even looking for a relationship and she’s perfectly fine being single and enjoying time with her family and girlfriends. So it would take someone really incredible to get her to settle down.”

So what caused the split between Pippen and Beasley? Source said it was just too much “drama” for the mother-of-four. “Larsa knows her worth and she enjoys spending a lot of time with someone, especially when she first starts dating them. Malik has a lot on his plate and she didn’t have the time or energy to get involved in that drama.”

Larsa sparked split speculation shortly after the romantic holiday in February when she posted cryptic captions on social media. “Surround yourself with people who see your value and remind you of it. @prettylittlething,” she wrote via Instagram on February 21.

The pair also “unfollowed” each other on Instagram and the former Real Housewives of Miami star was subsequently spotted with a new man last month.

Larsa and Beasley were first linked in November when they were photographed holding hands in Miami. The following month, the couple made headlines when the photos began circulating online, as Beasley was married to Montana Yao at the time.

Days after the photos became public, Yao, 22, filed for divorce from the athlete on December 8, with whom she shares 2-year-old son Makai. The following day, she claimed via her Instagram Story that she was “told to leave our family home 10 days ago, and just like you all I’m pretty confused.”

Beasley’s attorney released a statement in January via Us Weekly that “Malik looks to put this matter behind him,” but Yao wasn’t going quietly.

“Mr. Beasley forgot to inform Montana Yao, his long-time partner and wife, of his plans to leave his family ‘behind,’” Yao’s attorneys claimed in a statement at the time. “Instead, he put Montana and their young son out of the family home while he stayed behind to live there with friends.”

Beasley’s lawyer responded, “It is unfortunate that counsel for Montana Yao has elected to misrepresent facts in the media to seek sympathy, while omitting the fact his client demanded an outrageous and obscene amount of money for not only her, but for her mother, as an apparent bounty for an eight-month marriage.”

Yao’s attorney fired back, telling the publication, “Mr. Beasley’s latest statement is false from beginning to end.”

Larsa, for her part, maintained that Beasley’s relationship with his estranged wife was over well before they started dating. “They had issues before. It had nothing to do with me, so I wasn’t thinking anything about it,” she said on a February appearance on Hollywood Unlocked With Jason Lee, noting the duo had spoken about his marital status before they began a relationship. “If you spent a minute Goodling their situation, it wasn’t the ideal situation, way before me.”
