Alexia Echevarria “Is A Shoo-In” For Peacock’s ‘RHOM’ Reboot While Marysol Patton “Is Likely Out,” Source Says!

New sources are revealing new casting details about the upcoming Peacock revival of The Real Housewives of Miami.

While casting is still underway, sources reveal that former cast member Alexia Echevarria is likely to make the cut while Marysol Patton’s chances are much slimmer. Both ladies starred in all three seasons of the Miami franchise from 2011 to 2013.

“Alexia Echevarria is a shoo-in as she has such a dramatic and challenging life story between her ex-husband’s death, her son’s accident, and new [fiancé],” an insider told Page Six.

As for Patton, she “is likely out as her storyline with her mother was what viewers really loved, and her mother recently passed away,” the source said.

If you recall, Patton’s mother, Elsa Patton — who played a major role on “RHOM” — sadly passed away in May 2019 at the age of 84.

Insiders share that while Patton likely won’t be coming back, she “seems super happy” so “she doesn’t mind either way.”

Patton and Echevarria are best friends and continue to hang out with former castmates Adriana de Moura and Lisa Hochstein.

A spokesperson for NBCUniversal responded to the casting news about Echevarria and Patton via Page Six, “Nothing to share on casting now, but will let you know when we do!”
