Tinsley Mortimer “Feels Like She Wasted Four Years Of Her Life” With Scott Kluth After They Ended Their Engagement, Sources Say!

After it was confirmed that Tinsley Mortimer and Scott Kluth called off their engagement, sources reveal that the Real Housewives of New York City alum was “completely blindsided” by her split from the Coupon Cabin CEO, a source told Us Weekly.

“Tinsley feels like she wasted four years of her life on Scott,” the insider adds, noting that Mortimer “was at a photo shoot” when Kluth called off their engagement.

A second source, however, claims that the breakup was a long time coming. “Tinsley shouldn’t feel blindsided when she was aware it was over months ago,” the insider said. “Maybe it actually sunk in last week, but Scott did not blindside her. They have not seen each other since the beginning of January. They did not spend Valentine’s Day together. He’s been living alone since January.”

The news comes after Kluth confirmed the split after he released a statement to Us Weekly on Thursday, March 18. “After fourteen months of engagement, Tinsley and I have ended our relationship, and we have been living independently for the last few months,” the Coupon Cabin CEO said. “This was an incredibly difficult decision, but it is one that I believe is best for both of us. I will always care about Tinsley, and I sincerely wish her happiness and success in all that she does in the future.”

He added, “While I understand this news will be of interest to many, I ask for privacy and understanding during this time as I continue to work on recovering emotionally from the end of our relationship.”

A source told Us Weekly that the split has been “devastating” for Mortimer, adding, “He completely blindsided her.”

Mortimer and Kluth met in February 2017 on a blind date set up by her then RHONY co-star Carole Radziwill. They broke up that October and got back together soon after, only to split again in June 2018.

The former couple continued to have an on-off relationship in the months that followed before getting engaged in November 2019. Mortimer subsequently quit the Bravo reality series to be with her then-fiancé.
