Kary Brittingham reveals why she doesn’t believe Brandi Redmond will leave The Real Housewives of Dallas despite hinting last month that she was leaving the Bravo hit reality series.
“I think that she’s very hormonal so who knows,” Kary told HollywoodLife. “I don’t want to believe it.”
As previously reported, on Sunday, February 21, Redmond hinted that she was leaving RHOD via an Instagram post.
“Today I pray that life brings each of you happiness and in prayer John 10:28 kept calling me,” she began, referencing a passage from the Bible. “I prayed that the baggage of mistakes, feeling rejected, used and unworthy are no longer tied to anyones soul. I’m choosing to set myself free and lean into Jesus and I pray you’ll join me if you too have these desires.”
She continued, “We are worth happiness, grace, love, compassion and so much more. Stay strong and believe in yourself bc God always believes in you and is with you. I also want to thank you all for being apart [sic] of my journey these past few years. I have loved sharing my life with you but sometimes things come to an end. The best kind of ends are happy ending [sic] and I choose happiness. Sending you all my love and prayers. ❤️”
Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that she is “very much part of the show.” Also, a source told Page Six that Redmond hasn’t officially decided to make her exit.
“Brandi is still very much part of the show,” a source close to production said on Monday. “While she is contemplating leaving, nothing has been confirmed.”
As for Season 6, Kary said, “We don’t know anything!” Kary added. “I don’t even know if I’m coming back! I don’t know what’s going to happen next season. It’s all a secret. They don’t even tell us til the last second. We’re always kept in the dark. I don’t even know my color for the reunion yet!”
Kary then shared that she is looking forward to the upcoming RHOD season 5 reunion to face off with several of her cast members, particularly, Dr. Tiffany Moon.
“We’re filming it in a couple of weeks,” Kary teased. “I think me and D’Andra have addressed a lot of our issues on the show and kind of moved forward. ” I was surprised about a lot of things that Tiffany obviously said to me. I asked her saying, ‘Oh, I heard you were calling me a bully?’ and she said, “No girl, I didn’t say that,” and then I saw her say that in her confessionals, so I was just a little bit confused. I tried so hard to be friends with her. Don’t tell me something to my face and something behind my back. I know not everyone’s going to get me and appreciate me.”
