Jen Shah’s lawyer sent a cease and desist letter to two Instagram accounts earlier this week that shared leaked audio of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star yelling at her former designer, Koa Johnson.
A fan account on Twitter shared a screenshot of the alleged letter asking @realityvontease2 and @shahshepherd to refrain from speaking or posting about the audio clip of Shah berating Johnson.
Shah’s attorney, David Reymann, confirmed to Page Six on Thursday that he sent the cease and desist letters.
Reymann wrote in the letter, “Among other things, each account contains video and/or audio content that was unlawfully acquired from the Shahs’ home security system.”
Johnson previously revealed that he does not know who leaked the audio of Shah threatening him, the incident occurred on Nov. 6, 2020, with multiple people present.
“It was a very, very stressful time,” Johnson said of the 10 months he worked with Shah. “I wasn’t sleeping. I was not taking care of myself physically and mentally, but I was still operating on adrenaline.”
“It was like the most traumatizing months of my life,” he affirmed.
