Bershan Shaw Admits She’s “Excited” To Be Part Of ‘RHONY’ Cast And Teases What Viewers Can Expect From Season 13; Says “It Will Be A Lot Of Laughter, Crying, Growing, Learning, Challenging, Diversity And Taking It To The Next Level”

Bershan Shaw took to Instagram to share her excitement after Bravo officially confirmed that she was the newest cast member to join the cast of the upcoming new season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

"It’s official. I woke up screaming with excitement. Bravo and E Entertainment news has officially announced that I will be a part of the amazing Real Housewives of New York Cast," she wrote. "I’m excited to be a part of the Bravo team. It’s exciting and invigorating and the women on the show are truly amazing with great stories."

She continued, "We are funny, crazy, interesting, shocking, dope, diverse and warriors. Stay tuned. Please support me and @ramonasinger @sonjatmorgan @leahmob @countessluann @ebonikwilliams all the ladies because it’s going to be 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥#rhony #bravotv #bravo on this amazing journey."

In a separate Instagram post, she shared a screengrab from an article of The Sun where the international motivational speaker teased what Bravo viewers can expect from Season 13.

"When you hear that you’re in the Sun all you can do is laugh. I read this every time I go to the UK. This season 13 will be 🔥 🔥🔥🔥. The ladies are hot and at their best. It will be a lot of laughter, crying, growing, learning, challenging, diversity and taking it to the next level," she wrote."

She then thanks her followers, family, and friends for all the kind words and gifts since announcing her participation on RHONY.

"Thanks for all the calls, texts, emails and in person flowers, chocolates and more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support I have gotten."

She ended the post by explaining why viewers should not miss the upcoming new season. "Fans will definitely not want to miss this season 13 and all the wonderful and juicy stories the ladies will bring. Early this month, Bravo confirmed that Bershan is joining the cast of RHONY for the show's upcoming thirteenth season. 

"I'm thankful to be a part of the Bravo team and I'm thrilled about the diversity and inclusion this season brings," Shaw told E! News. "I am a warrior for all people and so are the ladies."

Bershan is a business coach, motivational speaker, author, and host of the podcast Buckle Up with Bershan. Shaw and Eboni K. Williams will be the first Black women to be featured among the RHONY cast. 

Shaw and Williams will be joined by returning cast members Leah McSweeney, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan.

The Real Housewives of New York City is set to air later this year on Bravo.
