RHONY Cast Reportedly Angry With Ramona Singer For Partying And Traveling Amid Production Shutdown Over COVID; Sources Claim Filming For Season 13 Will Resume Next Week!

The Real Housewives of New York City is set to resume production next week after shutting down for nearly a month, according to TMZ.

Sources claim that some of the cast members are upset at Ramona Singer over her “reckless behavior” and for traveling maskless during the pandemic.

Sources reveal that some cast members are livid after seeing Ramona “hitting up St. Barts and parts of Florida” while production was on hiatus. The ladies appear to also be upset “over the fact she threw caution to the wind and visited these places without practicing COVID guidelines… like wearing a face mask.”

According to TMZ, Bravo was well aware of Singer’s traveling. Sources say that Ramona will take COVID test before she resumes filming.

Apparently, the cast will start filming in and around Manhattan next week and in a couple of weeks ahead to Ramona’s Southhampton home to film what was originally supposed to be a cast trip to upstate NY.

Last month it was reported that an RHONY cast member tested positive for the novel coronavirus. News of the unnamed cast member’s COVID-19 battle was first reported by Page Six on Thursday, January 14. The same source told Us Weekly that it’ll be “up to the person” who contracted the respiratory virus to disclose their diagnosis.

In October 2020, filming on RHONY was partially suspended after a crew member tested positive. Despite a report claiming at the time that production on season 13 was shut down after a member of the cast tested positive, a source close to the production said that “a Housewife never tested positive for coronavirus.”

The new season will feature returning Housewives Leah McSweeney, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan. They will be joined by newcomer Eboni K. Williams, who made history as the show's first Black Housewife.
