Paris Hilton Admits She Doesn’t Know “What To Think” About Her Mom Kathy Hilton Joining RHOBH; Says “I Just Don’t Want My Mom Having To Argue With People On National Television”

Paris Hilton is reacting to her mother, Kathy Hilton, joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. 

The Simple Life star recently is set to launch her own podcast called, “This is Paris”. In a new teaser clip available ahead of the show’s February 22 courtesy via iHeartRadio, Hilton is asked what she thinks about her mom joining the cast of the RHOBH.

“I don’t know what to think,” Paris said, according to a report by ET Canada. “I haven’t watched that show actually in a while. I used to watch it in the beginning. But then it’s so much drama.”

She continued, “I feel like those type of shows feed off of that and they want everyone to fight and they love the drama,” she said. “I just don’t want my mom having to argue with people on national television.”

In October 2020, Bravo announced that Hilton joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and will appear as the official “friend” of the hit reality series’ upcoming eleventh season.

Kathy has made several guest appearances in seasons past since her sisters Kyle and Kim Richards have been part of the series since the show's debut in 2010.

She has also appeared on several other shows with her family in the past including The Simple Life and The World According to Paris; she also hosted the show I Want To Be a Hilton. Just like her sisters, she also has an acting resume, including appearances on iconic series like Nanny and the Professor, Bewitched, Family Affair, Happy Days, and The Rockford Files.

While Hilton will appear as a friend, her sister Kyle is returning for season 11 along with Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, and Garcelle Beauvais. They will be joined by a new cast member, Crystal Kung Minkoff.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is set to return later this year.
