Bravo officially confirms that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has been picked up for a second season.
The network shared the news on Friday, February 5, following the Season 1 finale, which aired on Wednesday, February 3
Last month, Andy Cohen first confirmed the news during the "After Show" segment of an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Cohen asked his guests for their predictions on "the most entertaining Housewives franchise in 2021."
Danny Pellegrino, host of the Everything Iconic podcast, replied first, saying that while he is "excited about all of them," he is "really hoping" the ladies of Salt Lake City come back for a season 2.
To which Cohen said, "Oh they're coming back for a season 2."
In November 2019, Andy Cohen announced that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was coming to Bravo during BravoCon 2019.
"We've always tried to choose cities that have completely unique personalities and we also try to throw a little curveball now and then, pick somewhere that you maybe weren't expecting," Andy explained during his Ask Andy panel. "I think you're going to be really surprised, intrigued, and titillated by the group of women that we have chosen in Salt Lake City for the next Real Housewives."
The first season of RHOSLC premiered in November 2020. The cast includes Heather Gay, Jen Shah, Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Meredith Marks, and Whitney Rose.
