A new source has revealed the alleged reason as to why Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill's friendship demised during the tenth season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
“The real issue was Cassandra Grey” the report, which came from Reddit, began, according to Reality Blurb. “Bethenny had been angling for a solo production deal since she returned to Bravo. Bravo wasn’t interested because Bethenny can’t carry a show by herself. However, spring and summer of 2017 Bethenny finally got the go ahead from Bravo to film Bethenny and Fredrik,” the story explained.
“It became apparent fairly early into the production that Bethenny and Fredrik weren’t getting along. Bethenny had pissed Fredrik off so royally he said he’d never work with her ever again.”
Allegedly, Cassandra Grey, who is the widow of the CEO of Paramount, Brad Grey, played out a huge part in their fallout.
“The husband of Carole’s friend Cassandra died in May of 2017. He was the CEO of Paramount. Carole spent much of the summer staying with Cassandra. Bethenny kept pushing Carole to get an invitation to hang out with Carole, Cassandra, and Brad’s friends and contacts who could help Bethenny get a production deal,” the report claimed.
“Bethenny was getting especially desperate as the Bethenny and Fredrik production was falling apart. Carole wouldn’t because she thought it was innaporoptiate. This caused Bethenny to flip and Carole didn’t quite realize that things were going awry until filming began,” the report continued. “Carole even put Bethenny in touch with the groups and people Bethenny would be working with on her charity. Those are Carole’s contacts that we see Bethenny with on the show.”
The report added, “Carole was blindsided. Bethenny’s changed attitude to Carole has nothing to do with Tinsley, Adam, or even charity work. It has everything to do with Carole not doing everything Bethenny thought Carole should be doing to help Bethenny become more famous”
After the report was shared by many users on social media, Carole responded to the claim suggesting that the report may be true.
“Wow, and to think I appeared on the Frederik show,” she tweeted. “Producers begged me to do that scene in the eyeglass store. Damn had I known it all. Ugh.”
