Pettifleur Berenger Admits She Faked Her Dramatic Persona On RHOMelbourne; Says “I Had A Job To Do And That Job Was To Create As Much Drama As Possible”

Pettifleur Berenger admits she faked her dramatic personality during her time on The Real Housewives of Melbourne.

Berenger admits she's glad to finally 'shed that image' after appearing on the current season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, according to a report by The Daily Mail Australia.

Berenger says she's 'forever grateful' to have been part of Real Housewives. "As the Pettifleur on the show, I had a job to do and that job was to create as much drama as possible," she told The Herald Sun.

"The show was based on extreme wealth and extreme drama and I thought I did my job well, but the downside to doing a job like well is that people tend to hate you."

Berenger shared that she no longer wants to be perceived as that sort of character, and hopes her stint I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will help viewers see it simply isn't her.

"I loved the show but hopefully I have been able to shred that image and be the Pettifleur that I am to my friends and family on I’m A Celebrity," she added.

Berenger appeared in the second and third seasons of RHOMelbourne.
