Meghan King hopes to get divorced in 2021 from her estranged husband, Jim Edmonds. “Getting divorced would be great,” the former Real Housewives of Orange County star told Us Weekly.
“That’s such a morbid thing to think about [and] to look forward to, but it’s funny how things change.”
King spent the holidays alone as her children spent Christmas with their father. King revealed that being alone that day was “really depressing.”
“I mean, I’m an adult who’s been driven by societal expectations for 36 years,” she told the publication. “It’s just hard to one day decide that that’s not what I’m going to do anymore. … I’m single. I have a new house. I’m all by myself in it. On one hand, I’m so proud and I feel incredibly empowered, and on the other hand, I’m lonely. I want somebody to share this life that I’ve built with me.”
The former couple share three kids: four-year-old daughter Aspen and twins Hayes and Hart, who are now 2.

Meghan was in a relationship with Christian Schauf, who is a podcaster and CEO of an emergency survival kit company in Park City, Utah. The two met on a dating app. However, the pair called it quits in November. The two revealed that they ended things on good terms.
