Bethenny Frankel And Ex-Boyfriend Paul Bernon Spotted Holding Hands In Miami!

Bethenny Frankel and her ex-boyfriend Paul Bernon are seemingly back together after sparking reconciliation speculation. On Tuesday, January 5, the two were spotted visiting artist Romero Britto’s studio in Miami alongside Frankel’s daughter Bryn, three months after they called it quits.

The pair were seen holding hands in photos shared by the artist and the Real Housewives of New York City alum was filmed sitting on her Bernon’s lap.

“It was a spontaneous get-together,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly, noting that Frankel is a longtime collector of Britto’s work.

According to the publication, Bethenny shared videos from the trio’s outing, showing off her daughter’s painting skills.

“She asked [Romero] if her daughter Bryn could come by and actually paint with him,” the insider revealed. “She’s a mini artist herself. Bryn had the opportunity to meet with the artist she admires.”

The eyewitness noted that it was “really beautiful” seeing Bryn work with Britto as Frankel and Bernon cozied up to one another and watched.

“This was her first time coming to his brand-new studio in Miami, which is 60,000 square feet and the largest studio of any artist. She got the first visit before it opens up,” the source told Us Weekly, adding that Frankel also painted with Britto, and the pair talked about “future plans” and a “possible collaboration of some sort.”

Britto posted some of Frankel and Bernon’s PDA-filled moments on his Instagram during the visit.

“At one point, Romero jokingly dropped down on one knee and showed her a gigantic ring he has in the studio and he asked her, ‘Is it big enough?'” the eyewitness added.

On October 12, 2020, it was reported courtesy via Us Weekly that the pair called it quits. The two began dating Bernon in October 2018. The two were first spotted packing on PDA in Boston, roughly two months after her on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields died in August 2018.

In July 2019, the former Skinnygirl mogul described how the pair’s romance allowed her to feel “happy in a way that’s different” than she had experienced before. “Not a high or a low, just a balance — which, if you know my personality at all, it’s not often that balanced,” she admitted on Live With Kelly and Ryan at the time. “But I feel just balanced and healthy.”

Two months later, the publication confirmed that the duo had taken a serious turn in their relationship by going house hunting together. Frankel and the movie producer were exploring homes in Massachusetts and Connecticut, but they weren’t limiting themselves to those states.

“They live together in the Back Bay area [in Boston] now,” an insider told Us Weekly at the time. “She has been spending a lot more time up there. They are house-hunting in the New England area.”

Frankel was previously married to Peter Sussman from 1996 to 1997. The businesswoman shares her 10-year-old daughter, Bryn, with estranged husband Jason Hoppy. The pair tied the knot in 2010, and they announced their split in 2012 after nearly three years of marriage.

However, she’s actually still married to Hoppy. Bethenny filed for divorce from Hoppy at the start of 2013 and it was confirmed as settled in 2016. However, “Jason and Bethenny are still technically married,” Hoppy's attorney Robert Wallack told E! News.

“The judgment was never issued because an order of protection was issued by the Criminal Court which impacted the previously agreed to joint custody arrangement and Frankel subsequently brought an application to modify the agreement (which gave rise to a multi-day hearing),” Judge Michael Katz told E! News through a court representative.

Frankel revealed during a September 2020 appearance on WWHL that she and Hoppy were still married. “I’m still married,” she told the host when he asked if she was considering getting married. “Crickets again! And scene.”
