Lisa Oldfield split from her boyfriend James Laws after 18 months together in September. The former Real Housewives of Sydney star shared a shady cryptic message she seemingly dedicated to her ex.
The controversial reality star uploaded a meme from the TV show True Detective, which captures character Rust Cohle - a homicide detective played by Matthew McConaughey - telling a woman who murdered her children to off herself.
“When your ex says “what should I do to show you that I've changed?”,” the meme read, before responding: “If you get the opportunity, you should kill yourself.”
According to The Daily Mail, Lisa posted the meme to her Instagram on November 30, with the caption: “I'd definitely give him a second chance if he could show that sort of commitment.”
In the now-deleted clip, the former Foxtel reality star filmed herself holding the diamond ring - a gift that was given to her from John - over the toilet before dropping it in and pressing the flush button.
She captioned the now-deleted post, “When you find out your #loving boyfriend had been loving a bunch of #sidepieces – should have had him #spayed along with the dog.”
Oldfield debuted her relationship with Laws, who she lovingly called “Jimbo,” in March 2019, after she ended her 18-year-old marriage to politician, David Oldfield, according to a report by News Corp Australia.
In August 2019, a smitten Oldfield, confessed that she wanted to marry Laws. “I reckon we’ll be married by the end of next year,” she said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
She added: “He’s the real deal. He’s a super nice guy, supportive, so amazing with my boys.”
In January 2020, engagement rumors were sparked when Lisa showed off her a ring which she wore on her wedding finger. However, she denied the rumor when she confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the ring was a birthday gift.
