Hanna Kinsella Reveals She’s Having A Baby Boy!

Hanna Kinsella has revealed the sex of her first child. The Real Housewives of Cheshire star announced that she’s expecting a baby boy with husband Martin Kinsella.

On Monday night’s episode of the ITVBe hit reality series, Hanna threw a gender reveal party where she found out she was having a boy, something the couple had felt since she became pregnant.

The baby's gender was revealed during an amazing firework display at the Combermere Abbey in Cheshire where her family and castmates were all in attendance. The socially-distanced gender party included Hanna and Martin's mothers, as well as their co-stars. Hanna wanted to do something in the air with helicopters or planes throwing smoke in the air, but ultimately decided on fireworks after a friend mentioned it to her.

The couple was thrilled when they first saw the blue fireworks explode into the sky. “When we saw all the blue, Hanna was jumping up and down going ‘I knew, I knew it’, and I just gave her a massive kiss. It was a lovely moment,” Martin said.

Hanna revealed that she always had a feeling she was going to have a boy. “When I first fell pregnant we both had this weird gut feeling that it was going to be a boy. We even started to refer to the baby as 'him',” the soon-to-be mom admitted.

Initially, the couple was not going to find out the gender of their baby and wait for the moment Hanna gave birth to know the sex. Eventually, the pair decided they wanted to know what they were having so shopping for the baby wasn’t so difficult. “As time went on we both started to think we should find out and then we thought we may as well make a big song and dance of it, because why not?” Hanna explained.

Following the episode, Kinsella took to Instagram to share the happy news with her followers by wearing a satin blue dress while holding her sonogram.

She wrote, “We’re having a boy!! 💙 @drmartinkinsella Who loved this episode as much as us?

I can’t thank my amazing team enough for putting this incredible gender reveal together. We are both so over the moon..can’t wait to meet our little son!”

In a second post, she and her husband Martin are holding a small baby blue onezie. “👶🏼Thank you to everyone who has written us such lovely messages, we are SO happy to be having a son and cannot wait to meet him! 💙 This week has been hard for Martin and I as we lost a very close friend. Life is short, make sure you tell the people you love you love them and be grateful for the people you have around you. Every day is a gift. A big thank you again to you all for your kind words💙🍼 IT’S A BOY!! 🙌🏼”
