Fourth Suspect In The Murder Of RHOCheshire Alum Missé Beqiri’s Brother Appears In Court!

The fourth suspect accused in connection with the murder of Real Housewives of Cheshire alum Missé Beqiri's brother, Flamur “Alex” Beqiri appeared at the Central Criminal Court (the Old Bailey) on Wednesday, December 16.   

Clifford Rollex (30), of Islington, was charged with perverting the course of justice on October 29.

According to The Daily Mail, he wore a beige coat and checked scarf as he attended today's hearing on conditional bail while three murder suspects appeared via video-link from custody. 

Swedish nationals Estevan Munizaga (34), Tobias Andersson (31), and Anis Fouad Hemissi (23) are charged with executing Flamur Beqiri last December 24. 

They were extradited from Sweden earlier this year and appeared via video-link from custody assisted by an interpreter. The court heard the four defendants require a Swedish interpreter with Skanska dialect.

Mrs. Justice Cheema Grubb told Rollex: “You must return on January 26 when you will be asked to enter pleas to this indictment” as his co-defendants were sent back to their cells.

Hemissi denied murder and possession of a handgun earlier this year and a trial date was fixed for July 12 next year with a time estimate of three weeks.

He will return on January 26 next year with Rollex, Munizaga, and Andersson when they will formally enter pleas. Rollex remains on conditional bail subject to an electronically monitored tag. 

Prosecutor Catherine Farrelly said there is a fifth suspect awaiting extradition from Sweden who will also appear on January 26.

As previously reported, Beqiri was gunned down outside his £1.5million home in Battersea, South West London in front of his wife and young son on Christmas Eve.

A month later, Anis Fouad Hemissi was arrested and extradited to the UK after police arrested him at Copenhagen Airport on a European Arrest Warrant on January 20. He's been charged with murder and possession of a firearm.

Hemissi was held under a European Arrest Warrant at Copenhagen Airport at the request of Scotland Yard after arriving there on a flight from Thailand.

Hassimi is from the Swedish city of Malmo, where Beqiri fled in 2016 after receiving death threats, The Sun reported.

“A 22-year-old man was arrested at Copenhagen Airport, Denmark, on 20 January on a European Arrest Warrant on suspicion of the murder of Flamur Beqiri,” The Metropolitan Police said in a statement in January 2020. “He remains in custody in Denmark pending extradition proceedings back to the UK.”

In August 2020, Hemissi denied murdering Beqiri. The 23-year-old kickboxer appeared at the Central Criminal Court of England and Wales (The Old Bailey) to deny the murder and possession of a firearm.

He was remanded in custody ahead of a three-week trial that took place on July 12. Catherine Farrelly, prosecuting, told the court Hemissi flew into the UK four days before the killings.

“The sole purpose of his trip was essentially to execute the deceased. The prosecution say this was an organized hit,” she said at that time, according to The Sun. “Within an hour of the hit taking place, he then flew out of the country and flew to Copenhagen.”

A police spokesman said that three men arrested in Sweden on October 8 are all subject to the extradition process through the Swedish judicial system. The men are aged 22, 31 and 33 and are all Swedish nationals.

Beqiri was a Swedish citizen of Albanian origin who had left Malmo for London nearly five years ago.
