Dawn Ward Announces She’s Leaving ‘The Real Housewives Of Cheshire’ After 12 Seasons!

Dawn Ward announces she’s leaving The Real Housewives of Cheshire after twelve seasons. The mother-of-four shared the news with her followers via Instagram on Friday, December 11.

"Having been on the real housewives of Cheshire for almost 7 years & 12 seasons, I’ve had the most incredible journey, not just me, but my whole family. It really has been amazing for us," she wrote.

"Season 12 has now come to an end and filming has finished. It’s been difficult this season with the pandemic but the cast and our amazing production team have pulled it off again, it’s been fun! Everyone who knows me knows I’m all about my family, so I’ve decided that after 12 seasons on the show I would like to concentrate on projects with them."

She thanked the network and the production team for their "incredible" support throughout the years. 

"I am so grateful to ITV, Monkey Kingdom and all the amazing cast over the years past and present!

Most importantly the amazing fans for their incredible support," she continued. "It’s a great show and will only go from strength to strength as it’s done since season 1. I want to wish everyone involved on the show the best of luck and I can’t wait to tune in for season 13!"

She added, "Once again thank you so much for all your support, you really have been incredible.

Exciting times ahead❤️❤️."

Ward also shared the news via her Instagram Stories. She shared the same statement she wrote via her Instagram post.

Ward was one of the original six cast members when the series premiered back in 2015 along with Ampika Pickston, Leanne Brown, Lauren Simon, Magali Gorré, and Tanya Bardsley. She appeared on the show for a total of twelve seasons.

During her time, she feuded with most of her co-stars. Viewers saw the demise of her friendship with bestie Leanne Brown over an alleged loan. 

Since appearing on the show she launched a beauty clinic, Skulpt, and a PR & Marketing company, Kanditree. Aside from being an interior designer, she is currently turning her Wardford Hall property into a spa retreat.
