Many current and former Real Housewives of Cheshire stars along with reunion host Brian Dowling are reacting to Dawn Ward's departure from the ITVBe hit reality series.
On Friday, December 11, the mother-of-four announced her departure from the series after twelve seasons.
"Having been on the real housewives of Cheshire for almost 7 years & 12 seasons, I’ve had the most incredible journey, not just me, but my whole family. It really has been amazing for us," she wrote.
"Season 12 has now come to an end and filming has finished. It’s been difficult this season with the pandemic but the cast and our amazing production team have pulled it off again, it’s been fun! Everyone who knows me knows I’m all about my family, so I’ve decided that after 12 seasons on the show I would like to concentrate on projects with them."
She thanked the network and the production team for their "incredible" support throughout the years. "I am so grateful to ITV, Monkey Kingdom and all the amazing cast over the years past and present! Most importantly the amazing fans for their incredible support," she continued. "It’s a great show and will only go from strength to strength as it’s done since season 1. I want to wish everyone involved on the show the best of luck and I can’t wait to tune in for season 13!"
She added, "Once again thank you so much for all your support, you really have been incredible. Exciting times ahead❤️❤️."
Following Ward's announcement, many of her current and former co-stars showed her support in the comment section of her post.
Ester Dee wrote, "Those sweet moments of my life spent with you are the best. They make me smile no matter what is going in my present life. Memories are always invisible to eyes but can be felt with heart. I am so proud of You for putting You first sister🙌 this show changed many people's life, including mine. You have been there for me, with me. I have gain not only work pal but also dear friend in You. TO THE NEW CHAPTER 🥂🥂🥂."

Nicole Sealey's husband Joe wrote, "A huge thank you to Dawn, Ashley and her entire family. Since we have done the show they have been nothing but incredible. Opened their home to us and welcomed us with open arms. We will see you as soon as we are back from holiday."
Ward's bestie Rachel Lugo commented, "Wardy what can I say 😭....I’m going to miss filming with you sooooo much. But it’s not the end for us as our friendship will continue to grow, we will still laugh and cry with each other, confide in each other and support each other...I love you Wardy ❤️❤️."
Lugo also dedicated an Instagram post to Dawn following her exit announcement.
"Wardy.....I’m going to miss filming with you soooo much you have no idea. We have made so many amazing memories together and had so many laughs but it’s not the end for us," she wrote. "Friends since our early twenties and living barely a mile away I still expect to see you to come cycling onto my drive 😂🤪 and I’ll still be letting myself in through your gates and pounding on your door. We always had our own rooms on the away trips but ALWAYS ended up staying together...Who’s going to do stupid snap chat videos with me in bed at 4am or dance around the room together as we get ready for dinner? You will smash the next chapter of your life and I’ll be right there by your side wishing you all the success in the world. I love you Wardy ❤️❤️❤️❤️ @dawnward4"
Ester Dee also honored Ward via an Instagram post following her exit announcement. "Dear Dawn, First time I met you in January 2017, ever since you grew on me," she wrote. "You became important person in my life, first proper girlfriend. I loved working and living with you and your beautiful family. Thank you for cooking curries for me and introducing me to 'red'🥂 We have fab memories in Warford Hall, they are going to stay in my heart forever. THANK YOU."
She continued, "I know that Your life is full of challenges, and one of the things that has made you successful has been your ability to master each new opportunity. Good luck with this new phase of your growth. Blow them away!!!!! It is exciting to see you break new ground on your life’s journey. I personally believe in you and know you will be phenomenal in anything you'll do next🙏 See you soon ❤."
