Richards shared an early look at the upcoming sequel in an Instagram posted on October 29. “Halloween Kills,” she wrote in the caption, also teasing the release date with a hashtag that reads, “Next Halloween 2021.”
If you recall, the horror sequel to the 2018 version was originally planned for an October 2020 release, but due to the pandemic, the film was pushed back until next year.
In 2019, Kyle signed on to reprise her childhood role as Lindsey Wallace, which she originated in the 1978 horror classic Halloween. According to Digital Spy, the upcoming horror film will see Kyle’s returning character, Lindsey, once again finding herself in the crosshairs of notorious serial killer Michael Myers along with Jaime Lee Curtis, who is reprising her iconic role as Laurie Strode.
