On Thursday, November 11, the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac filmed their reunion, the second Bravo reunion to be shot in person since early 2020 when reunions moved to remote filming amid social distancing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The RHOP Season 5 reunion follows in the footsteps of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 12 reunion which filmed in person with many protocols in place over the summer after reunions had gone virtual amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Reunion host, Andy Cohen took to his Instagram stories where he confirmed the reunion was being filmed in-person.
Cohen then shared a video clip where he is on the reunion set.
"This is a big ass prompter, look at this," as Cohen zooms a close up of the teleprompter. "It doesn't look that big to you but it's huge, which is good cause my eyesight is going."
He added the caption, "#RHOP REUNION! IN PERSON!!"
During the day, Cohen shared reunion updates via his Instagram Stories. "You guys it's 10:15pm and I'm still with the f***en Real Housewives of Potomac - look how glowy I am - I sent my makeup artist home even, look what I look like."
"Do we look good? Cohen asked. "You ladies look good. I need a mat, oh my God."
He continued, "This is nuts. This is - this is epic, this is epic."
In another video Andy said, "Gizelle just put EveryHue Beauty on my face, I think it kinda looks good."
Cohen then shared a selfie, confirming that the in-person reunion wrapped after eleven hours.
"11 hours later!! That was one of the most dramatic yet. I sh*t you not. These women do not play," he wrote.
The following day, Andy tweeted, "We shot for 11 hours yesterday and I CANT SLEEP. wtf! So.... GOOD MORNING!"
Cohen then shared that the reunion taping "could be" four parts.
According to Bravo, "The RHOP Season 5 reunion will air at a later date that has yet to be announced."
