Monique Samuels Shares Email Proving She ‘Had A Case’ Against Candiace Dillard Following Their Physical Altercation!

Monique Samuels took to social media to prove that she had a case against Candiace Dillard over their physical altercation. If you recall, Dillard filed second-degree assault charges against Samuels.

At the end of Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Dillard went off after founding out that Samuels filed a counterclaim against her over their altercation. Candiace felt it didn’t make sense as she believed that Samuels didn’t “have a case.”

However, the Not For Lazy Moms podcast host shared an email proving otherwise via Twitter.

Monique shared an email showing her “case” against Candiace, where she shared the details from a Maryland court to countering Candiace’s charges.

“But I did have a case …. and all charges were dropped 🤔 #RHOP,” Monique tweeted.

The document, which was sent to Samuels and her lawyer, states that they would “not be moving forward with either complaint” and that they would be filing to “drop the charges” in the case.

Both women addressed the topic on The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show. “I was just shocked…I was hurt. I was so angry, I was so mad,” Candiace said about the situation, according to Reality Blurb. “I was mad at Monique, I was mad at myself, I was mad in general, I was mad at everybody, because I felt like how are we here? How did we get here? How is this what we’re talking about? How is this the topic of conversation?”

As for Monique, she reveals why she filed a countersue and says she had “no desire” to see Dillard in court or “sue her civilly,” but she was pushed to that place since Candiace’s first filing of the charges, which would potentially put her in jail away from her family.

“I’m the one who walked away with an injury to my lip and I spent $900 at the dentist to get everything checked out and cleaned and all that other stuff. I didn’t say, ‘You know what, she needs to pay for that.’ I just wanted it to be done. I just wanted to move forward, figure out what the issues are, and just keep it moving,” Monique explained. “For her to have pursued this…those are the actions that make me say there will never be any reconciliation because you really wanted this mother-of-three to be in prison. Like…it’s just nasty!”
