Erika Girardi Feuds With Bravo Fan Page Over Instagram Meme Credit!

Erika Girardi came under fire on social media after she posted a meme of herself with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Lisa Rinna and Real Housewives of Potomac star Robyn Dixon, all sporting the same pink dress, comparing themselves to the Pink Ladies in “Grease.”

After the creator of the meme, Brands By Bravo, asked Girardi if she could give her credit for her work, the Pretty Mess singer refused to give the fan page the credit they deserve.

“Hey. That’s my photo! Can you credit me Please?” Brands by Bravo asked Girardi in the comments section of the post.

Girardi responded, “Actually it’s not your photo. It’s Bravo and Paramount photo but ok. Cute meme though.”

“I know that but the meme and the caption were my idea,” the account pleaded, according to Page Six. “I’m a huge fan of yours and nearly passed out when I saw you posted my meme. I just wanted credit for it. And in my post, I credited Bravo for the photo. Thanks!”

Sadly, Erika kept refusing to acknowledge the fan page's work.

“The way to get more ‘credit’ for your ‘ideas’ is to come up with your own and stop leaving comments on my page about how you feel wronged,” she responded. “These images do not belong to you. Now go make some interesting s–t that I can promote.”

Girardi added that her co-star, Kyle Richards, took the photo of her in the original post.

Many fans came to the fan page's defense and slammed Girardi for refusing to give the fan page credit.

“I can’t believe how she is behaving,” one commented, according to Page Six. “Honestly, there was always something about her that put me off, but I wanted to like her. Oh well. I think she lost a lot of fans over this.”

Another referenced her lawyer husband, Tom Girardi: “I think you need Tom to give you a lesson on intellectual property. This isn’t yours.”

“Girl really???” a third user wrote. “You don’t know how memes and instagram works all of the sudden?? When someone edits a photo and puts their time into it, and then you repost it without credit…it’s messed up. And then you gave the audacity to be rude in return? Lmao ok girl keep digging yourself into a hole it seems to be working out great so far 🤧”
