Candiace Dillard Maintains She “Did Nothing Wrong” To “Deserve Being Physically Attacked” By Monique Samuels!

Candiace Dillard maintains she “did nothing wrong” to “deserve being physically attacked” by her Real Housewives of Potomac co-star Monique Samuels.

Candiace took to her Instagram page to share a lengthy post ahead of Sunday night’s episode of the Bravo hit reality series.

“I maintain that I did nothing to deserve being physically attacked. That’s a separate conversation than the one regarding whether or not I did anything to contribute to the altercation,” she wrote.

“The question @drkencounseling asks me during our session is: “ do you think you did anything to contribute to the physical part?” Again, the answer is no.”

She continued, “When we want to have a conversation about accountability in engaging in contentious arguments — you’ll see more of that later this season — but I absolutely contributed with my verbal gymnastics to this incident. And if every time someone says something that the other doesn’t like, we want to justify it with physical violence, we have a problem. But let’s double and triple down some more on what I “deserved.”

She concluded, “Tonight is interesting, adding the hashtags, “#RHOP #BravoTV #shecamefromJesus #sleepingbeautyiswoke #readingisfundamental🌸 #candiacedillard #candiacedillardbassett #primahaircollection ##vote #yourvotecounts #electionday2020 #november3rd”

The two have not spoken since their fight, which resulted in a summons being issued to Samuels for a charge of second-degree assault. Samuels filed a counterclaim against Dillard for a charge of second-degree assault. In December 2019, both charges were dismissed.
