Andy Cohen is addressing rumors that Sophia Hutchins and Caitlyn Jenner are joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the show’s upcoming eleventh season.
Cohen claimed that “the call is coming from inside the house,” suggesting that Jenner and Hutchins may have started the rumor themselves.
“This is one of those where the call is coming from inside the house, as they say. I know that they have expressed their interest publicly,” Cohen explained on Andy Cohen Live via SiriusXM’s Radio Andy channel on Thursday, October 1, according to Us Weekly. “On social media, they’ve tagged me in posts saying, ‘This is a great idea,’ but … we’ve never talked to them formally. That rumor is not true.”
Cohen explains why he doesn't see Jenner and Hutchins ever joining the series, not even as friends of the show.
“You know, the thing about it is, Kris [Jenner] is good friends with Kyle [Richards]. They are legitimately really good friends," said Cohen. “And so, yeah, no, I just don't see it.”
Kris Jenner was also recently rumored to join the series after it was announced that Keeping up with the Kardashians was coming to an end in 2021. However, Kris shut down claims that she was joining the series on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“I think I would do it just to go on once in a while and be with my friend Kyle Richards,” Kris told DeGeneres. “But as far as me doing a show like that regularly, there’s just too much going on in my life … and they do not need a Kris Jenner on that show. They are doing just fine.”
Kathy Hilton, sister of Kyle and Kim Richards is also rumored to join RHOBH as a friend. Sources claim that Hilton has no internet in joining the show in a full-time capacity.
The news comes after Denise Richards announced her exit from the series after two seasons. Meanwhile, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave confirmed that her contract was not renewed and was not returning to the show for the upcoming eleventh season.
