Sutton Stracke Reacts To Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Getting Fired From RHOBH!

Sutton Stracke reacts to Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“Well, I think we were all sad. You know, it's been really fun getting to know Teddy. She's such a love. I know. She's so busy with that little sweet muffin. I know Teddy is a fighter, literally. I boxed her. So I know that she is a fighter and she's going to come on top. She's going to do something great,” she said during an appearance on RealiTea With Derek Z via NECN.

She added, “I think that we just kind of want to let her have some time.”

When asked if she would like to return to the series, Sutton said, “it'll be nice to see the girls again.”

Then, host Derek Zagami asked Stracke which co-star she would do a clothing line with, which Sutton said, “You know, I would say there's one person that I think I would really love to kind of mix and match with, and it would be Dorit because she and I have very, like, polar opposite fashion. So it's kind of it might be fun to meld those together and come up with something fun and playful, but yet also fancy.”

As previously reported, Teddi confirmed her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after three seasons. She shared the news via her Instagram, confirming that Bravo did not renew her contract for Season 11.

“Hey guys, just here hanging with baby Dove,” she began in the video clip where she announced her exit from the Bravo hit reality series. “I don’t want to bore you but I figured I got to give you a little update on what’s going on. I recently found out that my contract as a Housewife is not being renewed. Of course, I could give you the standard response of ‘Oh, we both came to the decision that it would be best…’ Nah, I’m not gonna do that. That’s not who I am.”

“Of course, when I got the news I was sad,” she continued. “It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast, with the crew, and you get to do incredible things that you probably never get to experience without, you know, the show. That being said, I’m really looking forward to the future and being able to focus on my family, my friends, All In.”

“I really feel like I have some exciting things ahead and, you know what, I’m pretty busy with this little nugs,” she said as she leaned into her baby. “So thanks for coming along on this journey with me and I’ll see you soon.”

In the post, she captioned the video clip, on Tuesday, September 22. “You heard it here last šŸ˜‚ Yes, it’s true, I am not coming back to #RHOBH. Thank you to @bravotv, @evolutionusa, @bravoandy and all of the amazing women for the support (and the shade) for the past three years. Back to the shadows I go šŸ¤Ŗ.”

Teddi joined the RHOBH during the show's eighth season in 2018 and stayed on as a full-time cast member for three seasons. Mellencamp is the second Housewife to announce her departure. Earlier this month, Denise Richards announced she was leaving the series. Richards' rep confirmed the news and Andy Cohen revealed that they couldn't come to an agreement over salary negotiations for season 13, which prompted her to quit the series after two seasons.
