Andy Cohen Denies Being Responsible For Dorinda Medley’s Alleged RHONY Firing; Andy Says “Is Not True”

Andy Cohen is setting the record straight about his role in Dorinda Medley's exit from The Real Housewives of New York City.

This week, Page Six reported the following: “Dorinda Medley’s off-color quip about former “Real Housewives of New York” castmate Tinsley Mortimer using a kitchen tool to get pregnant didn’t sit well with her Bravo boss Andy Cohen,” an insider told the publication.

Apparently, the comment “offended” the “Watch What Happens Live” host and “RHONY” executive producer so much that it factored into Medley’s firing last week, the source said. “It was part of sealing her fate.”

Medley's remark was directed at Mortimer after the socialite revealed that she was leaving New York City to live with her now-fiancé, Scott Kluth, in Chicago.

“I’ve got a turkey baster — maybe try and have a baby,” Medley said.

Mortimer has been open on the show about her fertility struggles and ultimately decided to freeze her eggs in 2018.

“You just look like an evil, mean person,” Mortimer responded.

However, Cohen denied Page Six's claim as he commented on the publication's comment thread on Instagram, which was captured and shared by Comments By Bravo.

Cohen wrote, “This is not true.”

On Tuesday, August 25, Medley announced that she was leaving the RHONY after six seasons. “What a journey this has been. I have laughed and cried and tried to Make it Nice...,” she wrote via Instagram.

“But all things must come to an end. This was a great outlet for me to heal when my late husband Richard passed away,” she continued. “I have met so many interesting people and learned so much about myself, about life and about women along the way.”

She continued, “Thank you to Bravo and NBC for the incredible ride and to my cast mates for constant stimulation and entertainment. I wish you all health, happiness and success. Clip!”
