Vanderpump Rules Stars Danica Dow, James Kennedy And Raquel Leviss Come To Lisa Vanderpump’s Defense Amid Latest Lawsuit From Former SUR Employees!

Vanderpump Rules stars Danica Dow, James Kennedy, and Raquel Leviss came to Lisa Vanderpump's defense after former SUR employees filed a lawsuit against the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband Ken Todd for allegedly not paying them.

Dow slammed a report by E! News about the topic and tweeted, “This isn't true. I've never personally been, or even heard of anybody not being paid.”

After a follower asked Dow, “How much is she paying you to tweet this?”

Danica responded, “I wish she was paying me cuz I'm broke but nah that's not the case lol. Just standing up for my boss because it's bulls--t.”

Reality couple James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss also came to LVP's defense and slammed the lawsuit.

“This is so ridiculous... Since working as a waitress at SUR for two years have always taken a break when I've wanted one and always gotten paid fairly,” Levis tweeted. “It has never been an issue. This lawsuit just doesn't seem right to me.”

James tweeted, “I've always taken a break when I wanted and have always gotten paid the correct amount. Even looking back since I was a bus boy it was legit and fair. Been at at sur for years now.”

To which LVP responded, “Thanks darling...too true, stay safe...hard times.”

As previously reported, Vanderpump and Todd are being sued by several former SUR employees.

According to the court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, August 4, Olivia Beverly Hanson filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of herself and others who previously worked at SUR Restaurant on Friday, July 31, accusing the couple of breaking several California labor laws, including failing to pay overtime wages.

“For at least four years prior to the filing of this action and continuing to present, defendants have had a policy or practice of failing to pay overtime wags to Plaintiff and other non-exempt employees,” the docs state, claiming that employees “routinely [worked] over eight hours per day, 40 hours per week and seven consecutive work days in a work week without being properly compensated for hours worked in excess.”

The docs also allege that Vanderpump and Todd and their partners, Guillermo Zapata and Nathalie Pouille-Zapata, failed to “accurately track and/or pay for all hours actually worked” and allegedly manipulated or edited “time records to show lesser hours than actually worked during the pay period, to the detriment of Plaintiff and other situated employees.”

The legal filing comes after another former employee, Adam Pierce Antoine, took action against the reality couple for similar accusations. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly in January, Antoine alleged Vanderpump and Todd were “not paying wages” “failing to pay minimum wages” or “providing meal breaks.”

While the case is ongoing, a source downplayed the allegations to E! News at the time: “These were two disgruntled ex-employees that had been written up with many warnings by management and subsequently let go. Lisa and Ken do not tolerate anyone that may be abusive to their staff or to patrons.”
