Tamra Judge Admits She’s ‘Excited’ About Returning To Real Estate Following RHOC Exit!

Tamra Judge is thrilled to be returning to her real estate roots following her exit from The Real Housewives of Orange County.

“Real Estate has always been my passion. I put it on hold to film RHOC for the past 12 years,” she told Us Weekly. “I kept my license active while filming because I knew there would come a day when I’d go back. That day has come and I’m excited to join Residential Agent Inc. in Corona Del Mar.”

Judge got candid about her real estate return. “I’m going back into real estate. I’ve signed up with a luxury real estate agency,” Judge revealed on RealiTea With Derek Z., according to PEOPLE. Tamra would be working for another of the network's alums, John McMonigle, who appeared on the series Real Estate Wars. “He has a beautiful office in Corona Del Mar called Agent Inc.,” says Judge.

“My girlfriend works there and she talked me into it. She’s like, 'Real estate is booming right now. I don’t know why you’re not jumping into it,'” says Judge. “I’m like, okay, I knew there was a reason why I kept my real estate license active.”

She shared the video interview on Instagram, captioning the clip “Going back to what I love,” and adding “#sellingoc.”

Judge joined the Bravo hit reality series in 2007 for the show’s third season, replacing original cast member Jo de la Rosa. In January, Judge announced that she was leaving RHOC after 12 years.

“It’s been a wild 12 years. But it’s time to move on,” she wrote via Instagram on January 25. “I’m sad to go but I’m very excited about my future. Love you guys.”

Judge left the series after she was offered a reduced role for the show’s fifteenth season. It was reported that Bravo “offered her a part-time role and she declined,” an insider told the publication at the time. “She was on the fence anyhow.”

Days after announcing her departure, Judge spoke with Andy Cohen via an Instagram Live session about her upcoming projects following her RHOC exit. “I’m just sitting at home studying my real estate because I need a new career,” she shared, to which Cohen responded, “You are so funny, you’re the queen of CBD, what do you mean you need a new career?”

Judge said that she’s been working on “renewing my real estate license” for the past few months. The reality star then shared why she was contemplating on returning to real estate in the first place.

“I’m probably not going back to real estate, but I have to renew my license every four years,” the mother-of-four explained. “I always do it ‘cause I’m always looking for a backup plan.”

In March, Judge originally revealed during an Instagram Stories Q&A that she was in the process of renewing her real estate license. “My real estate license recently expired and I’m renewing it now,” she wrote at the time. “Never know when I’ll need it again.”
