Robyn Dixon Weighs In On Candiace Dillard Bassett And Monique Samuels’ Fight; Says “It Definitely Was A Very Disappointing Thing To Experience”

Robyn Dixon is sharing her thoughts on the physical altercation drama between her Real Housewives of Potomac co-stars Candiace Dillard Basset and Monique Samuels, which will play out later this season.

“When this fight happened, my mind was just so blown and confused. I’m like, ‘Why is this happening?’” Dixon told Us Weekly’s podcast, “Getting Real with the Housewives.” “It definitely was a very disappointing thing to experience and to see. You never want to see your friends get into a physical fight like that.”

She added, “Everyone has a different perspective on it. It’ll be interesting to see and to watch. That’s a big part of the season as well — the fallout from it.” Robyn, 41, tells Us. “I understand people are excited [to watch]. They’re intrigued.”

The incident took place at a dinner with their fellow cast members in October 2019. Samuels allegedly grabbed Dillard Bassett by the hair and pulled her down.

Monique and Candiace were both charged with second-degree assault after they both filed a complaint against each other following the incident. The charges were later dropped, but if the case continued, they both would have faced jail time.
