According to The Daily Mail Australia, Krissy Marsh has fallen victim to an elaborate cyber scam. The Real Housewives of Sydney star was conned out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by overseas hackers impersonating legal advisors.
It is believed that Marsh was targeted by hackers while she was in the process of buying a $10million beachfront home in Noosa, Queensland.
She is currently living in her home in the exclusive Sydney suburb of Dover Heights, which she listed for sale for $8million in 2017 but was never sold.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Krissy was deceived out of about $550,000 after hackers sent an email impersonating a law firm that represented the "property princess."
As part of the settlement, the former real estate agent was asked to send hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The former Foxtel reality star did not confirm the figure when she was contacted on Saturday.
"The police are aware of it but I am unable to comment at the moment," she told The Daily Telegraph.
The former model starred on the Real Housewives of Sydney in 2017 and is married to property developer John Marsh. They have three children: Billy, Nicco, and Milana.
