Nicole Sealey Is Recovering After Undergoing Emergency Gallbladder Removal Surgery!

Nicole Sealey was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Tuesday after she woke up in pain at her home. The Real Housewives of Cheshire star found herself in agony and was taken to Macclesfield District General hospital where she underwent emergency surgery, according to the Mirror.

Following the surgery, Sealey revealed that she underwent a cholecystectomy, which means having her gallbladder removed.

Nicole later opened up about her health scare but remained thankful for the staff at the hospital.

"It was scary being rushed to A&E in the small hours. But I knew I was in good hands and am actually quite relieved now that my gallbladder is gone," she said, according to the Daily Mail.

She added: "I'd like to thank the lovely staff at Macclesfield and Joe, my husband who looked after me. Feeling sore but on the mend!"

Earlier this week, the ITVBe reality star took to her Instagram stories to document her experience.

Nicole's husband Joe also shared the news via his Instagram Stories: "'She's not well. Got to have an op today now. 3am rushes to A&E are not fun."

However, following the procedure, the mother-of-three has returned home where she is recovering with the support of her family.

Nicole has also shared updates about her recovery on her Instagram page where she thanked her fans for their love and support.

She recently wrote, "just wanted to say thank you for all my well wishes and lovely gifts. feeling sore but on the mend!"

Late last month, Sealey revealed that she collapsed towards the end of filming Season 11 and was treated in hospital for five days after suffering complications with her gallbladder.

Nicole admitted that she felt unwell while she and her co-stars filmed in Athens for the show's cast trip shortly before the UK was placed under lockdown in March.

"I tried to carry on filming but in April I ended up in hospital," said Nicole told Manchester Evening News, who has suffered from gallstones, small painful stones that form in the gallbladder.

"I was told that the pain is equivalent to being shot."

Nicole and the rest of the ladies are returning for season 12 of the ITVBe reality series, which began filming earlier this month.
