Garcelle Beauvais Joins ‘The Real’ As New Co-Host!

Congratulations are in order to Garcelle Beauvais! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is joining The Real as the newest co-host for the daytime talk show's upcoming seventh season.

“I am beyond beyond excited to share this news that I am the new cohost of @therealdaytime,” Beauvais wrote via Instagram on Monday, August 24. “Anyone who knows me knows that I love pop culture.”

She continued, “I love the news I love talking about it I love sharing my opinion and to be sitting at the table with these amazing women.”

She added, “[Loni Love], [Adrienne Bailon] and [Jeannie Mai] Will be an honor and a blast #talkshow #newhost.”

The talk show's offiical Instagram page also showed some love to Beauvais as they welcomed her to the populat talk show.

Beauvais told Variety in a statement about her new gig, “I am thrilled to be joining the dynamic, bold and diverse women on the award-winning talk show ‘The Real,'” Beauvais said. “My love for pop culture and news, blended with my natural gift of gab, has always made me gravitate towards a talk show environment. It’s also exciting that it’s happening right after my amazing time joining ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'”

The page wrote, “We’ve seen your comments and we couldn’t be more excited to announce @garcelle as our newest host! “I am thrilled to be joining the dynamic, bold and diverse women on the award-winning talk show The Real, ”My love for pop culture and news blended with my natural gift of gab, has always made me gravitate towards a talk show environment. It’s also exciting that it’s happening right after my amazing time joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” ⁣Season seven of The Real returns Monday September 21st! Trust us, you don’t want to miss it!” ⁣

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Real will be going virtual this fall. “We are so thrilled to have Garcelle joining our ‘virtual’ Girl Chat Table,” says executive producer Rachel Miskowiec told Variety. “Her extensive career in front of and behind the camera, and her willingness to share her life and her points of view on important topics with us make her the perfect addition. We can’t wait for Season 7 to begin.”

Beauvais will take over from Tamera Mowry-Housley, who announced her departure from the talk show earlier this summer after six seasons. Actress and comedian Amanda Seales was a co-host briefly, joining the show earlier this year in January, before announcing her exit this past June.
