RHOA Rumored Newbie LaToya Ali Calls Out NeNe Leakes; Says “You Lack Empathy For Black Women As A Result Of Your “Diva” Behavior” — NeNe Responds!

Canadian YouTuber, LaToya Ali aka LaToya Forever, slammed NeNe Leakes in the comment section of an Instagram post. The rumored Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie called out Leakes for lacking “empathy for black women” and accused her of being responsible for having her aunt fired.

“Nene, you lack empathy for black women. As a result of your “diva” behavior my aunt lost her contract in Toronto because of your comments towards black women, leaving a black woman’s job in jeopardy. Remember when you appeared on the shopping channel?”

Leakes responded to Ali’s claims by sharing a comment from someone from the Canadian network, according to a report from the Instagram page, The Peach Report Daily.

The screenshot comment that NeNe shared on social media regarding LaToya’s aunt read as follows: “That’s incorrect LaToya. Your aunt lost her contract because she came in on a date she wasn’t scheduled as a guest and waited outside of Nene’s dressing room for most of the day, essentially stalking her, the woman named Gina Ma wrote. “Then she came and borrowed clothing from the collection to wear and take pictures with Nene. She wasn’t authorized to do any of that and technically shouldn’t have even been in the building all. I worked for the network at the time and was Styling that show. [Your] aunt acted unprofessionally period. Don’t put out false information.” She added, “I have respect for you, but that’s not what happened at all.”

According to Us Weekly, Ali and actress Drew Sidora are joining Season 13 of the Bravo hit reality series.

Sidora is an actress known for her roles on That’s So Raven, The Game, Hindsight, and more. She also appeared in Step Up and played T-Boz in VH1’s 2013 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. As for Ali, she is close friends with longtime cast member Kandi Burruss.

Meanwhile, Celebrity Blogger, Love B. Scott reported the following: “LaToya’s estranged husband (Adam Ali) not wanting certain things filmed. Last month, they announced they’ve ended their marriage. In the event they’re not able to work through whatever hold-up they’re having (whether it be for him to film or not wanting her to show the kids), the backup plan is for LaToya to be a friend of the show.”

As to why the network wants to add Sidora and Ali on the Bravo hit reality series? Apparently, show executives want ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ to start “trending younger.”

Last week, Kandi confirmed that filming began for Season 13 of RHOA. Returning along with Burruss are Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams. It's still unclear if NeNe Leakes will return, however, during a recent Instagram Live chat, Leakes revealed that she soon plans to speak about her future on the series.

“If I told you the way I was treated, you would not believe it. Same with Tamar,” NeNe told her followers on Saturday, July 18. “I’d love to say more but I’m afraid it won’t be received well then I won’t get the support I need,” she shared.

“I have remained quiet. I haven’t said anything on it but it’s coming. I will be speaking. I have the right people to speak. Wait for it.”

Last month, HollywoodLife reported that “Cynthia [Bailey], Porsha [Williams], Kenya [Moore], Kandi [Burruss] and NeNe [Leakes] were sent contracts to return to the show full-time.”

The site also revealed that “Friends” Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam “have been asked back” in their same roles. “They’re all planning on returning,” the source revealed, noting, “A few of them have signed their contracts already, while a few haven’t yet.”

Last month, Eva Marcille announced her departure from the series after three seasons. “I appreciate the bond of friendship that I have made with several of my castmates and the strong personal relationships I have with numerous executives and producers at the Bravo and Truly Entertainment companies,” she said in a statement to Us Weekly.

“I am thankful for the opportunity I was provided. However, after speaking with my family and representatives, I believe that what I hope to accomplish for the culture and community will be better served by focusing on other opportunities. I look forward to serving my community on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show and finding ways to be a voice during this transformational time in our country for people of color.”
