Lisa Vanderpump Agrees With Fan That Andy Cohen Encourages His WWHL Guests To ‘Throw Shade’ At Her!

Lisa Vanderpump called out Andy Cohen on Twitter after she agreed with a fan that the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host encourages his guests to “throw shade” at her.

“I don’t get why [Andy Cohen] has issues with [Lisa Vanderpump]. He seems to always try to get guests to throw shade at her. She’s done a lot for Bravo with [two] successful shows, she’s a fan favorite. Just stop!” the fan wrote on July 16 via Twitter.

To which Lisa replied, “Well thank you kind sir and I agree.”

The news comes days after Sarah Paulson made an appearance on WWHL where the American Horror Story actress addressed her past drama with Vanderpump, where she claimed that the Bravo reality star wasn’t that nice to her when they first met.

As previously reported, Paulson first admitted that she had a bad run-in with the Vanderpump Rules boss during a “Lie Detector Test” video for Vanity Fair in October 2019.

“I don’t want her coming after me on Twitter, but I won’t miss her,” Paulson said after she was asked about Vanderpump’s departure from RHOBH, according to a report by Us Weekly. “I miss the dynamic she brings to the group — which is, you know, the fear of God she instills in everyone. But no, I won’t miss her. I met her once at a party. She wasn’t that nice to me. Am I going to get in trouble for that? She wasn’t that nice!”

During Thursday, July 8th episode of WWHL, Cohen asked Paulson about her revelation. “I mean, Andy, it’s that thing where I’m a bit of an idiot in the sense that I was having that lie detector test,” she told the host. “They truly strapped everything around me. The guy was sitting there. I somehow felt that if I didn’t answer the question properly I was going to get called out anyway! Listen, bless the fans. Bless the people who have [Vanderpump’s] back. That’s great.”

Paulson clarified that she doesn’t think the SUR owner is a “terrible” person. “I simply said she wasn’t that nice to me. She wasn’t and that’s OK. It wasn’t a character assassination!” she told Cohen, noting that it was still an honor to hold Vanderpump’s beloved dog Giggy. “I was just like, ‘Yeah, I think I probably grabbed the dog out of her hand anyway.’ But I was with other people that I think she liked and she didn’t know who I was. I didn’t expect her to know who I was but I just, you know, she wasn’t that nice.”
