"My best friend actually married an Australian guy. She and I both talk about how nice it would be to move to Australia," she continued. "We would have to drastically change our lives but it is definitely something that is very appealing right now."
Ashley explained that the potential move could be good for her one-year-old son Dean, who would be able to see his Australian relatives more often.
"My husband's family lives in Melbourne and all these babies are growing up in Melbourne close [in age] to Dean, and I just wish he could see that side of his family more," she said.
"As soon as we're capable we're flying, we're venturing across the pond to come to Australia," Ashley told The Daily Mail.
The Darbys won't be the first Real Housewives couple to move to Australia. Former RHONY stars Alex McCord and husband Simon van Kempen and their two sons moved from Brooklyn to Byron Bay in 2014.
Alex has since received her master's in professional psychology, while Simon has his own law firm in Tweed Heads.
