Swedish national Anis Fouad Hemissi was extradited to the UK after police arrested him at Copenhagen Airport on a European Arrest Warrant on January 20.
The 22-year-old has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Beqiri's brother Flamur "Alex" Beqiri was gunned down outside his £1.5million home in Battersea, South West London in front of his wife and young son on Christmas Eve.
The 22-year-old suspect was held under a European Arrest Warrant at Copenhagen Airport at the request of Scotland Yard after arriving there on a flight from Thailand.
Hassimi, who is a kickboxer, is from the Swedish city of Malmo, where Beqiri fled in 2016 after receiving death threats, The Sun reported.

A hitman is believed to have kept Beqiri under watch before gunning him down as he returned home on the evening of December 24 with his wife and their son.
The man arrested for Beqiri’s murder is said to be of Tunisian origin. He has denied any involvement in the murder and has vowed to fight extradition to the UK.
