Kara Keough Pays Emotional Tribute To Her Late Son Two Months After His Death!

Kara Keough paid an emotional tribute to her late son, McCoy, two months after he passed away due to childbirth complications. “You would have been two months old today,” the former Real Housewives of Orange County star wrote via Instagram on Saturday, June 6.

“You’d have found your favorite pacifier by now, and I’d be grateful that I was finally able to get those first (beautiful) 6+ hour stretches of sleep that make me feel like a Disney Princess with birds tweeting above my head.”

She continued, “Instead, I’m clocking in 12+ hours every night because sleeping is decidedly easier than my waking hours. We should be cleaning up your blowouts, instead we’re dealing with our own s–t. At this point, you would be finding your voice – squawking and squealing and making our hearts explode.”

Keough concluded the post writing, “Being without you is hard, but being your mom is one of my favorite things about myself. I love you, McCoy Casey.”

Last month, Keough revealed she got her first tattoo to honored her late son.

Keough and her husband, Kyle Bosworth, announced in April that their newborn son passed away due to childbirth complications. “He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts,” she wrote at the time. Three weeks after McCoy's passing, Kara's father Matt Keough passed away. One month after their devastating loss, the couple opened up about losing their newborn son on Good Morning America.

“We want his life to mean as much to as many people as possible and to let all of the positive ripples of his life be there,” Kara said in her first interview since the tragedy.
