Kandi Burruss Confirms She And Kenya Moore Were Asked Back To RHOA For Season 13!

Kandi Burruss recently spilled the tea about the official lineup for the upcoming thirteenth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Burruss shared the news during a recent live chat with TS Madison that she along with co-star Kenya Moore was asked to return.

Instagram fan page, Kandi Burruss Fan Page captured and shared the clip where she opens up about her return to the series along with Moore.

I got my letter if that’s what you asking me. A whole bunch of people are going to be mad because they’re going to be like ‘Oh she don’t need to be on there she boring [unintelligible],” Burruss said.

As for Moore, Madison asked Burruss as to why the former Miss USA winner removed ‘RHOA’ from her social media bios.

To which Kandi simply replied, “She did get her letter so I don’t know.”

However, according to Celebrity Insider, Kenya has not given a response to Bravo yet. Although she has allegedly been offered more money to return it is said that she may be thinking of relocating to New York to save her marriage to husband Marc Daly.

Earlier this week, it was reported that “Cynthia [Bailey], Porsha [Williams], Kenya [Moore], Kandi [Burruss] and NeNe [Leakes] were sent contracts to return to the show full-time,” according to HollywoodLife.

The site also revealed that “Friends” Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam “have been asked back” in their same roles. “They’re all planning on returning,” the source revealed, noting, “A few of them have signed their contracts already, while a few haven’t yet.”

Last week, Eva Marcille announced her departure from the series after three seasons. So who is replacing Eva? “Sheree [Whitfield] is seriously being considered to rejoin the cast for season 13,” the insider shared.

While there have been rumors that Phaedra Parks has been considered to return to the series, new sources claim otherwise. “Phaedra [Parks] will not be considered while Kandi is still on the show,” the source told HollywoodLife, adding that producers are “looking into casting at least one [housewife], but would like two other women right now to round out the cast.”

The insider adds that filming on RHOA is scheduled to begin this coming July. And, “Cynthia’s wedding is still on as of right now, and plans are in motion to have a crew there.”

The news comes after celebrity blogger Love B. Scott reported last week the following: “Pickup letters went out last Friday via emails to each of the ladies’ representatives and NeNe did not get one. Eva Marcille already announced she isn’t returning.”

However, NeNe’s manager Steven Grossman denied the report that his client has been fired from RHOA. “It is absolutely not true that NeNe has been fired from RHOA. Furthermore, it was made abundantly clear prior that she will always be welcome on the series as long as she wants to be,” he told HollywoodLife in a statement. “We are having on-going bigger picture conversations with NBC Universal and have not made any decisions regarding next season specifically. Any speculation or sources trying to create controversy by stating otherwise are incredibly inaccurate.” Steven added “Bloop” at the end of the statement, referencing NeNe’s infamous catchphrase.

Bravo has also responded, noting there is “absolutely no truth” to the report that NeNe was fired.
