Leilani Dowding Opens Up About Her Exit From The Real Housewives Of Cheshire!

Leilani Dowding is opening up about her exit from The Real Housewives of Cheshire. If you recall, the former Page 3 model only appeared on the series for one season when she joined the cast for Season 10.

Dowding revealed why she didn't return for Season 11 when a fan asked her the question in the comment section of one of her recent Instagram posts.

"I just wanted to get back to tranquility," she wrote. "I couldn't really offer what was needed, and wanted to spend more time with Billy :) though with that said all his concerts have been cancelled so I am no anyway."

Early this year, Dowding confirmed that she was not returning to the series for season eleven.

After a fan asked Dowding in the comment section of one of her recent Instagram posts if she was going to return to RHOCheshire, she simply responded, "no."

Leilani thanked fans who revealed they were going to miss her being on the show.

In March 2020, Leilani confirmed that she was engaged to her longtime partner Billy Duffy. She shared the news about her engagement to The Cult rocker on her Instagram page.

"This virus has made me realize what an arse I’ve been taking so many small things for granted. Life can change SO fast in days," she wrote. "I’ve never felt such relief and gratitude that Billy could make it home before the travel ban kicked in."

She continued, "This surreal time has made me reflect on what matters most. It’s actually the BEST timing it could ever be!! I don’t care that there was no party, or a romantic foreign destination," she added. "The only thing that matters, is being together. I’m so lucky and so grateful that he can be home."

Billy also shared the news too, using the same photo on his social media page with the caption, "She did indeed say yes!"

The former Page 3 model was previously married to restaurateur Richard Palmer, who was once married to Raquel Welch. Dowding and Duffy met when she was living in the U.S., where she resided for 15 years, according to The Daily Mail.

Dowding and Duffy moved back to the U.K. last year and appeared on the tenth season of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. During her time on the show, she got candid about not wanting to have kids and Duffy's past cancer battle. Currently, the couple resides in L.A. where Leilani is a real estate agent.
