Kelly Dodd Under Fire Again For New Comments About Coronavirus, Tamra Judge And Vicki Gunvalson Weigh In!

Kelly Dodd is once again under fire over her controversial comments about the COVID-19 pandemic. During an Instagram Live chat, a friend of the Real Housewives of Orange County star told her, “It’s more every day. In New York, we’re down to 250 [deaths] a day.”

Dodd then compared coronavirus to “the flu” and added, “But how many people die on a daily basis? … Well, people are going to die! I’m sorry to tell ya.”

Many fans of the series slammed Dodd on social media for her insensitive comments regarding the global crisis, including former RHOC co-stars Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson.

After Instagram account, CelebTM shared a clip of the video, Judge and Gunvalson commented on the post.

“Unbelievable!!!” Judge wrote, according to Page Six. “What will it take for her to understand how serious this is ? People are dying everywhere. Where’s your compassion???”

Gunvalson simply added, “Wow!”

Dodd first came under fire in April when she claimed the coronavirus pandemic was “God’s way of thinning the herd.” However, she quickly apologized, saying, “That’s not what I meant.”

“I’m not insensitive,” she said at the time. “I feel bad for all the families that lost loved ones, and I do think that we should all stay home and protect everybody. That’s not what I meant, and I want to apologize to anyone who got offended, OK? I’m sorry.”

Gunvalson was slammed last month after advocating for the reopening of beauty salons amid the pandemic.
