Denise Richards Insists She Didn’t Quit The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Amid Feud With Co-Stars; Says “I Did Not Quit The Show”

Despite reports that Denise Richards stopped filming the current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after falling out with her co-stars over hookup drama with Brandi Glanville, but the Wild Things actress is adamant that she didn’t quit the show.

“We were pretty much wrapped actually in December and I was asked to go to two events that we had,” Denise told Extra. “I did not make it to those. That was the extent of me stopping filming … I did not quit the show … The only people that said I quit are some of the people on the show, and they never asked if that was true or not.”

However, an insider revealed that the mother-of-three was absent for other filming obligations — including Teddi Mellencamp’s baby shower — after the women got into a heated argument in Rome over her alleged affair with former cast member Brandi Glanville and allegedly talking negatively about her castmates.

“They confronted her in Rome because she was also s–t talking the girls to Brandi,” the insider said at the time, adding that Denise denied having an affair and talking poorly of her fellow “Housewives.”

However, a separate source told us that Denise had a prior obligation on the day of Mellencamp’s baby shower.

Last month, Richards shut down rumors that she quit the series and that she was not showing up at the reunion.

“The only people who’ve said that I’m not going to the reunion are some of the ladies on the show and they never asked me if I was going or not,” Denise told HollywoodLife. “I’m planning on going if we still have [it]. I don’t know how we’re going to be doing the reunion now. Maybe things will be lifted and we’ll be able to do it, even if it’s on Zoom. But I never said that I wasn’t going to be there. They’re the ones that are saying that,” she said.

As for whether or not she’ll be back for season 11 of RHOBH, Denise says, “No one knows who’s going to be back next season. They have to ask us to come back. I never said I quit the show. And Bravo knows that!”
